From the tee, it is apparent that a shot that is short of the green is not good, as it will likely come to rest in the hazard. This par three requires a carry across the hazard to reach most parts of the green, but a long shot will be trapped by a bunker behind the green.

Pro Tips

The obvious is that long is better on this hole. WIth the forced carry over the hazard, the green is deeper than it appears and being a little long is preferred and may still leave you on the putting surface.
