Three large fairway bunkers await tee shots that are hit to the right side of this fairway. Players must navigate hazards on both sides of the landing, unless the big hitter wants to bypass the landing area and try for the green in two shots on this par five.
Pro Tips
The ideal tee shot is played just left on the left edge of the fairway bunkers. Decision time is next. A long approach shot ends up very close to the green (if not on the green for the longer hitter) while the safer, conservative route is to hit a short iron short of the hazards. If the player hits short of the hazards, a low to mid-iron is all it takes to hit the green.
